The Monrovia Bird Watching Club is run by the Society for the Conservation of Nature in Liberia, and is comprised in large part of expats and bird watching experts. The club meets every month on the second Sunday, and visits different destinations for a bird walk and some other activities.
The Fendell Bird Club is run by a group of students of the University of Liberia who want to learn about birds around their homes. The club meets every Saturday for 2 hours, and allows interaction of students with more seasoned bird watchers. Destinations most often around the Fendell Campus area in Margibi.
The FTI Student Birding Club is a new group, founded in November 2019 after the launch of the Liberian Bird Atlas. The group consists of students from the Forestry Training Institute (FTI) who are teaching themselves to identify birds in order to contribute to the Liberian Bird Atlas project.
